Resources

CCHE offers a wide variety of resources though its networking efforts. Using the "Updates!" email list, we are able to post local activities and events, solicite answers to homeschoolers' questions and offer support to one another. Other resources are available as determined by the CCHE board.

Please see About Us for more about who we are and the services that CCHE offers.

The resources listed to the right are compiled and maintained by CCHE. Each will take you to a webpage that has information provided by our group, followed by links to external sources that members of our group have found helpful in the past -

Starting Point - The starting point consists of an article written by a CCHE board member followed by links to websites that have information for the new homeschooling parent.

Homeschool Groups - Is a list of homeschooling groups both local, regional and national. As well as information on how to get a homeschooling group added to the list.

Homeschooling Terms - Learn homeschooling vernacular. What does unschooling, kinetic learning, carschooling, etc. mean?

MI Homeschooling & Legal Matters - List of resources explaining homeschooling in Michigan, legal groups that offer assistance to homeschoolers and legal matters that can potentially affect your ability to homeschool.

General Curriculum - Links to webresources, groups and purchasing sites that give information on how to develop, compile or use curriculum. Also curriculum subject material not identified in other categories (such as art, music, foreign languages, etc.) not addressed in the other categories.

Math & Science, History & Social Studies, Language Arts - Specific links for curriculum, tutoring and educational resources in these subjects.

Young Children - Resources especially for children in Kindergarten or below and their parents.

Teens - Learn about graduating from homeschooling, preparing for college, teen social issues, health topics and other teen-specific resources.

Family Support - Want to know how to handle family members that may not support your homeschooling efforts? Need help meeting bills or living frugally? Want some great recipes? This resource page is for you!

Organizational Resources - Want to have academic reports? Want help in organizing your day, the curriculum or household chores?

Misc. Other Links  - This area is for all those links that did not seem to belong elsewhere!
